Our first stop in Canada’s west coast was Whistler BC; a resort town which is best known for its Alpine Skiing. We weren’t there long since we wanted to spend more time in Vancouver. However we did get to enjoy the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, one of the longest and highest in the world, and my first stab at downhill mountain biking which was awesome! The video of the mountain biking is a bit rough, but I put it in there anyway. If we get a chance to go skiing anytime soon, Whistler is at the top of my list.

Sea Otter got the silver.
I noticed that you made it to Tok AK. It’s a long way from Whistler BC to Tok Ak given you ferried the Inner Passage to Skagway.
Watch out for the polar bears. You will know them, they are white.
Polar Bears are white?! Thanks for the heads up.

I was looking at the Garmin map. It seems to indicate that you have crossed the river a few times.
Is the water cold?
How’s the family?
I forgot to say that the river the Chena River that runs through Fairbanks AK.
It’s about a 100 miles in length.
I notice that you spent some time in the town of Seward AK. I think there is a ferry from Seward to Vancouver. (Spelling?)
What is your travel agenda for the upcoming days?
I don’t know if there is a ferry from Seward to Vancouver. Probably. We took a Kenai Fjords boat tour from Seward. We’ll be heading back through the Yukon to Haines AK to catch the Ferry there.
