Our last stop in Canada was Victoria BC on Vancouver Island. You have to take a ferry to get from Vancouver to Vancouver Island, so we had to put our Airstream, The ZimmyGo, on a ferry which was easy and fun. Our time on the island was short so we didn’t see a whole lot. Our first day was spent getting settled at our new campground, hitting the playground, and the beach.
Our first full day was spent at the amazing Butchart Gardens. I am skeptical of arboretums and gardens because they all look alike after a while. However, Butchart Gardens, located in an old depleted quarry, was the best I have ever seen. If you find yourself in Victoria, it is a must see.
For our last day in Victoria, we visited Craigdarroch Castle and Fisherman’s Wharf. Both were okay, but the most interesting part of the day was the Float Home Village at the Fisherman’s Wharf.

Looks like you are still having a good time. Big smiles.

I see you have moved your teepee not too far from Astoria. It’s a nice town. If I remember correctly there is a park with a tower one can climb to view the vista. It’s worth the climb.
Some throw model planes from the top.
Not too far away is Fort Clatsop, the winter encampment for the Corps of Discovery. December 1805 to March 1806
Thanks for the tips Boopa!
